"You will come to see the Bible in a whole new light, and find yourself reading it — with greater wisdom and insight — for the rest of your life." - From the Foreword by Dr. Scott Hahn
New Testament This Revised Standard Version Second Catholic Edition Bible brings together all of the books of the New Testament and the penetrating study tools developed by renowned Bible teachers Dr. Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch, presenting the written Word of God in a highly readable, accurate translation. With illuminating study notes, topical essays and thorough indices making, this New Testament Bible is excellent for personal and group study.
The Joy of the Gospel – Pope Francis In this book, Pope Francis explains how and why embracing the Gospel is the source of joy. Through his personal passion, he brings to life the Gospels for the people of this age, by taking the reader on a journey exploring many of the challenges facing the people of God today, while at the same time inviting the reader to whole-heartedly embrace the Gospel like never before.
The Joy of the Gospel is a deeply personal invitation to reflect on the gap between the life we are living and the life God calls us to live. It is an invitation to love both God and our neighbor more fully. It is an invitation to live more fully in the midst of the opportunities and challenges that each day presents.
Your God is Too Boring – Jon Leonetti Some say, “Catholicism is outdated. It’s behind the times. It’s boring.” I say we’ve forgotten our story. It’s time to rediscover that there is genius in Catholicism. Christianity has captivated the world for more than two thousand years. Look a little closer, and you’ll see that it is the most dangerous and exciting thing on earth. Catholicism is a game changer. This book looks at the big picture of who God is, what he has revealed to us, and how that will radically impact our lives if we let it.
I’m Not OK. You’re Not OK. But It’s OK! - Chris Padgett If they really knew me… How many times have we thought that? We put on a face that says we’re OK, but in reality we are a mess. We don’t think life can be better, so we learn to excel at being average. What if life could be lived differently? This book offers that hope. No one is perfect—we’re in good company—and there is a God who sees that we are not OK and wants to be with us anyway. Break through the barriers, face your insecurities, and find true peace so you can become the-best-version-of-yourself.
Nothing is Impossible with God – John Michael Talbot John Michael Talbot has been inspiring audiences around the world for decades with his music and message. At a time when so many people are discouraged, he delivers a message filled with encouragement and hope. This book will inspire you to live as a Catholic Christian with faith, hope and joy! We will always have human problems of Church, civil government, the workplace, family relationships, and even ourselves. But Jesus says to us, “I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33)
