Scripture and Religious study groups usually meet in the St. Joseph Room but currently are meeting online due to the coronavirus. We encourage you to join the meeting time that fits your schedule. New studies are ongoing, so check back often to see what the next study will be.
While we often focus on Scripture Studies in our meetings, we periodically diversify our offerings by looking at Church councils, Church history, moral and theological Church teachings, prayer, discipleship, evangelization, holiness, and more.
There are also scholarship funds available for anyone who is not in a position to purchase the study materials. We do not want something like that to prevent someone from joining a study.
We have a group that meets on Monday and another one Wednesday.
In April 2023, we will be watching "The Chosen", Season 3. Come and See
The Monday evening group meets from 7 to 8:30 PM in the St. Joseph Room.
The Wednesday morning group meets from 9:45 to 11:15 AM in the St. Joseph Room.
RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, meets on Sundays. Although RCIA is generally intended for people who want to receive their Sacraments of Initiation and be fully initiated into the Catholic faith, we invite ALL parishioners to attend our RCIA sessions.
Hearing the class presentations from the Catechism is very enriching for anyone's faith. Some parishioners come in order to receive a refresher on some of the core teachings of Catholicism. Others come because they have never had an opportunity to hear the Church's teachings in a structured setting. Regardless of where you are at in your faith journey, it is very likely you will find these sessions enriching. You can watch a playlist of our RCIA presentations using this link HERE.
