You may want to explore the St Joseph Conference of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. We offer help and hope to those in need.

We are “A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” This is a lay organization and we are led to grow spiritually and offer person-to-person service to those who are suffering or in need within our community. 

St Vincent de Paul is an international organization. The Cedar Rapids Council of SVdP Society provides support and formation to parish conference groups who then independently serve the needs of their community.

Contributions to our conference go directly to help friends in need. The group welcomes new members and ideas. We all have gifts to offer and share. Our conference meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 6-7 PM in the St. Joseph room. Please join us. Thank you for your continued support!
