Women's Connection is a ministry of the St. Joseph faith community whose primary goal is to provide support for widows. The group meets monthly to offer support for one another by listening, sharing, praying, and planning events. The group also supports one another in ways such as: 1.) Accompanying each other to doctor's appointments; 2.) Attending memorial Masses for deceased spouses; 3.) Offering assistance to help solve home and maintenance difficulties; 4.) Attending various events together; 5.) Gathering for breakfast after Mass on Sundays; and 6.) Sending cards of encouragement on special days.

Any widow in the parish can become a member, regardless of the amount of time widowed. The group meets (during construction) from 1:00-3:00 PM on the second Thursday of each month at the Marion City Library.
